RV & Boat Winterization

Winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21, but you can still beat the rush and take advantage of our featured RV services, our Basic Winterize Package. In fact, Gull Boats & RV can even winterize your RV appliances for an additional cost.

WHEN SHOULD I WINTERIZE MY RV?

We suggest booking an appointment as soon as possible as we book up quick, also you never know when snow will catch you off guard! If you will be in temperatures at or below 32-degrees Fahrenheit, it’s extremely important that you have your RV/Boat winterized before storage to prevent future RV/Boat repairs. If, for example, the water in your water heater freezes, the ice can cause cracks in the tank, which can lead to costly repairs.

If you have already winterized your RV or Boat, consider storing at Gull Boats & RV!

CAN I WINTERIZE BY BOAT/RV BY MYSELF?

While many of the tasks involved in winterizing an RV can be done by a knowledgeable RV/Boat owner, the best way to protect your RV/Boat from preventable repairs is by taking your RV into a service center to professionally winterize your motorhome or travel trailer.

At our Gull Boats & RV Service Center, for example, we know the ins and outs of your RV’s water system, many of which are quite complex. So, while you may be capable of removing the water from your distribution systems, our RV service technicians know how to route antifreeze through the lines without filling the tank.
