And while local water sports enthusiasts have long known of Oregon’s rich lake life culture, many out of state residents have no idea of all Oregon has to offer.

1. LOON LAKE

Located in Douglas County, Oregon, Loon Lake is a well known camping site in Oregon and is known for its sandy beaches and proximity to a natural campground. The lake is surrounded by red cedar trees and the Coast Mountain Range, so you better believe that there is no better view. We suggest bringing your RV along on the trip as there are several RV campgrounds in the vicinity

 

2. LAKE BILLY CHINOOK

Lake Billy Chinook is located in the Ochoco National Forest and the Crooked River National Grassland. The lake consists of 4,000 acres and 72 miles of shoreline. If you have the right fishing attachments on your Sea-Doo, then Lake Billy Chinook is perfect for you. The lake is known for its largemouth and smallmouth bass, rainbow, brown, and bull trout, kokanee salmon, and whitefish. It is also perfect to test out the performance of your PWC, as the lake is filled with meandering corners and long straightaways.

3. COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE

Columbia River Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge is one of Oregon’s hotspots for vacationing families. It’s deemed one of the “Seven Wonders of Oregon” for a reason. One of the reasons is that it was designated by the U.S congress as the largest national scenic area in the entire United States. Bring your Sea-Doo and start jetting through the Gorge! Along the way, you’ll traverse along incredibly vast arrays of vineyards and other natural splendors. You’ll also see magnificent waterfalls, wildflowers, smaller lakes and streams on your adventure.

4. THE HOOD RIVER

Bring you Gull Boats & RV PWC and enjoy Hood River like never before! You can access the Hood River by going to the beach of the same name. Perfect for families, the river runs for 25 miles and consists of several forks that can make each vacation a little bit different. If you want to do a little bit of adventuring, then stay along the shore and keep an eye out for any trailheads along the way.

5. WARRENTON, OR

Warrenton, Oregon is the same location where Lewis and Clark ended their great adventure to map the western United States. But it can be where you begin your next one. The Warrenton Marina provides an excellent home base with delicious seafood and places to get your jet ski on the water. You’ll find several locations near Warrenton to get out on the water, including the Columbia River and the Skipanon River.
