Carl Ibsen began his scuba diving adventure in 1965 with a 45 cu ft tank and a yellow plastic Voit regulator. His first exposure suit was jeans and a sweat shirt, self-painted with some horrible rubberized paint. Over the years, Carl has updated his equipment and explored virtually every lake, pond, river and mud puddle in Montana, doing everything from search and rescue to recovering the remnants of a plane crash in 1968. These days his diving is virtually all for pleasure. He became a Divemaster to help others discover that pleasure and excitement. Carl enjoys underwater photography and has recently started underwater videography.
